Year 11 Collection of Results only
We are required to carefully manage the number of people on site at any one time, therefore, please arrive at the time specified for your tutor group:
11C: 9:30am – 10:00am
11I: 10:00am – 10:30am
11K: 10:30am – 11:00am
11M: 11:00am -11:30am
If the results are not collected on Thursday 20th August they will be posted, to the address we have on the school database
These plans may change if government guidance changes or we have to re-enter a lockdown, be that regional or national, but we will keep the website updated at all times with this information.

Summer 2020 Post Results Service
This year there will be very limited grounds for appeal.
Full details of what this actually means for students unhappy with their results will be made available as soon as it has been released by the Awarding Bodies and JCQ. Please note this may not be available until the day you receive your results
The grounds for appeal will be limited to:
– Procedural Error made by either the Awarding Body or by Tile Cross Academy
– Evidence of bias / discrimination
Candidates may wish to take an exam in the Autumn series, candidates should note that exams will consist of written exam papers only – with the exception of Art – and results will be based solely on these written papers.
All timetabled examinations from this Summer will be available during the Autumn series for candidates who are either unhappy with their calculated grade, or were unable to receive a calculated grade.
Full details of dates and the application procedure will be provided once known.
Please note that dependent on when the detail is provided to us by the Awarding Bodies, you may not receive any further information about the Autumn series or Appeals process (including deadlines and costs) until the day that you receive your results.
Exam Information for Candidates
Examinations are a crucial part of education for all students. The process can be a stressful and worrying time, however the key to a successful exam period is to be prepared, understand what is expected of you, revise well and do the best you can.

The awarding bodies (exam boards) have strict rules which must be followed for the conduct of exams and Tile Cross Academy is required to follow them precisely.
