Tile Cross Academy Secures Tesco Free Fruit & Veg Grant

Tile Cross Academy is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Free Fruit and Veg Grant from Tesco, a fantastic initiative aimed at supporting healthy eating in our community. Since the end of October, this grant has enabled us to distribute over 1,800 pieces of fresh fruit to students, helping to promote balanced diets and encourage positive eating habits. This generous support has not only enhanced our efforts in promoting wellbeing but has also been warmly received by students and staff alike.

As part of this initiative, we are thrilled to share that on 20th December, we will be giving away 10 hampers of fresh fruit and vegetables to local families. This is our way of extending the benefits of this grant to the wider community during the festive season. If you would like to request a hamper, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office. We are proud to be working alongside Tesco to make a positive difference and are excited to continue supporting healthy lifestyles for our students and their families.
