Space Invaders

The National Space Academy ran a year 10 careers event at the Birmingham ThinkTank on the 22nd of January. Tile Cross brought 32 students to attend this great opportunity which was well supported by a few other schools around Birmingham.

The aim of this event was to highlight the range of careers around the space sector, and the variety of routes available into these careers. Our students attended talks from university academics, interactive sessions with tutors, as well as a careers fair with local, national businesses and universities. There was also time to explore the museum as well!

Overall, the trip was a great success and I hope was useful to all that attended. Also, thanks to Mr Sofian who helped supervise.

There are even rumours that Tilal Khalil is interested in a career at NASA! Watch this space…
