GCSE Results 2024 Our Best Results Ever AGAIN!

The 22nd of August was a day of celebration at Tile Cross Academy as our GCSE students returned to collect their long-awaited results. As the envelopes were opened, feelings of nervousness and anticipation quickly gave way to joy and excitement as their hard work was rewarded. We are incredibly proud of our students, who put in tremendous effort throughout the year, embraced their teachers' feedback, attended extra support sessions, and, most importantly, pushed themselves to achieve their full potential. The hard work of both our students and teachers has resulted in the best results Tile Cross Academy has ever achieved!

This year, we saw an incredible rise in top grades. In 2023, our students earned 4 Grade 9s, but this year, that number has soared to 23! A special congratulations also goes to the students who achieved Progress 8 scores of +1 or higher, meaning they outperformed their peers nationally by securing, on average, a grade higher across all subjects. Furthermore, several students achieved top grades across a range of subjects. These fantastic results mark yet another milestone for our school—the best we have seen to date!
