Celebrating Our 'Good' Ofsted Rating

We are thrilled to announce that Tile Cross Academy has been officially recognized by Ofsted as a 'Good' school! This outstanding achievement is a testament to the incredible journey we have been on together.

Five years ago, when I took over the leadership of the school, Tile Cross Academy was a school already under special measures. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to transform our school into a nurturing and high-achieving environment. This journey has not been without its challenges, including navigating the unprecedented impact of the pandemic. However, through the        dedication and hard work of our staff, students, and the unwavering support of our families, we have successfully turned things around.

The recent Ofsted inspection highlighted several areas of excellence at Tile Cross Academy:

• Quality of Education: Our curriculum is broad, balanced, and engaging, providing our students with a rich and diverse learning experience. Inspectors noted the high standards of teaching and the significant progress our students are making.
• Behaviour and Attitudes: The positive behaviour and attitudes of our students were commended. Our pupils are respectful, well-behaved, and show a strong commitment to their learning.
• Personal Development: We are proud of our efforts to support the personal growth and development of our students. The inspectors recognized our extensive extracurricular programs and the opportunities we provide for students to develop their skills and talents.
• Leadership and Management: The leadership team at Tile Cross Academy was praised for its clear vision and effective management. Inspectors noted the strong sense of community and the collaborative spirit that pervades our school.
