Paradise Unlocked

Thirteen students accompanied by Mr Mackintosh and Mrs Akhtar travelled by train to Birmingham New Street Station to spend a day at No. 1 Centenary Way in the new Paradise Circus development as guest of Goldman Sachs.

The pupils had an introduction to the world of investment banking and what employers are looking for when selecting people for jobs.

As the day progressed the pupils learned about CV writing and interview skills before working in groups to create and propose a business idea. 

We had some amazing ideas including a new snack and clothing range.  

These pupils had all visited the redevelopment when they were in year 9 and will continue the relationship when they are in year 11.
