Yesterday on an extremely cold evening the Year 11's played their cup match against KESH on their new Astro turf. In the freezing conditions It took TCA a little time to warm up and KESH went into an early lead, it could have been more had it not been for Filippos' heroics in goal. As the first half went on TCA started to get back into the game and were unlucky not to score a few goals before the break, it was 2-0 to KESH at the interval.

The resilience of the TCA players shown through in the second half, and they pulled themselves back level with 2 fantastic goals from Liam Lees, if you have never seen Liam play, he is some talent and a pleasure to watch. TCA pushed for a winner and looked the more likely winner only for KESH to break free on the counter and cruelly score to go through to the next round.

Once again, the TCA team were a credit to themselves and the school, they wore the TCA jersey with pride, worked exceptionally hard for their team and demonstrated commitment, desire and resilience throughout, alongside impeccable manners.
