Year 7 Isle of Wight UK Sailing Academy

42 year seven pupils had an amazing five days at the UK Sailing Academy at Cowes, on the Isle of Wight.  The adventure began with a ferry journey across the Solent on the luxury Jenny Boat cruise liner!  Upon arrival the children then had five days and nights of fun activities on and off the water including paddle boarding, kayaking, keel boating, water games, a cinema night, rope tying, radio procedure, and rock climbing.  Some great personal journeys were made with pupils who were scared of the water at the start of the week, jumping off the dock at the end of the week.  Despite some very poor weather and the autumnal temperatures the children performed amazingly and were a credit to the school.
